I have spent several hours reading educational blogs. I did not realize how much great info is being published on the internet. It does get confusing at times as you follow one link to another than try to navigate back where you came from but I think I am getting the hang of it. I love reading to my class and I often read the books they are reading but my tastes don't always match theirs. I read a blog written by a teacher that had a similiar problem. She said that she when she broke down and read 'The Lightening Thief" she found she enjoyed it. She gives some suggestions regarding reccommended reading for 4-5th grade students, too.
